Torch Fired Enamels
The enameling process used in this line of jewelry pushes the boundaries of what enamel is meant to do by over firing it to get an exciting array of color producing a cellular, organic effect. The steel components are repurposed industrial fasteners which give a striking contrast to the natural forms found in the enamel work. These parts are linked together with 14K gold-filled accents. The steel rings, paired with torch fire enamel on copper, bring an organic sensibility to otherwise rhythmic linear lines repeated in series. This unique combination of black, gold, and enamel colors produce a strong calligraphic effect on the body.
